Day 4#20…Still in South America, still in Ecuador but having travelled north by bus for many hours we reached the outskirts of Mindo. A beautiful little town nestled in a tropical valley where Emily and her sister Olivia spent some time when travelling around Ecuador together shortly before Emily died. Their favourite place in Mindo was El Quetzal a fabulous cafe which specialises in Ecuadorian chocolate brownies and, indeed, all things chocolate! I guess you could say it is just another image of a bird in flight, but this photo of a beautiful Racquet-Tailed Coquette Hummingbird was taken in the garden of our backpacker lodge, the same one that our girls had stayed in. This, of course, makes it all the more memorable and special for us but we hope you like it too. The greetings cards are available in assorted packs of ten, but if you order two packs you will get all 20 images ….
