I don’t know anything about moths so I was intrigued to meet this Lunar Hornet moth on Skokholm Island. Richard, the expert ranger on the island pointed it out to us so that we could photograph it. Apparently they are common across all of the UK but I guess most of us would’ve thought it was a hornet…but now we know.
