I’m a couple of days late with this update but still thrilled to report that Martin’s team have been really busy and many of the window frames and doors have now been installed around the back and side of the Emily Collins School. The temporary roof drainage has been built to keep the water from running inside and down the walls, the compound has been cleared and the hard core has been laid on much of the outside to prepare for the covering of marrum.
Latrines are being dug , water is going to be piped in soon and connection to the national grid for electricity has been applied for.
Progress is lovely to witness but this has only been possible because of the kindness and generosity of many, many people, so thank you! More photos are available to view on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/OldCollo
